Denim on denim has potential to be a disaster. Like Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears in this photo that we all love to hate. BUT when paired right, it can be super trendy and really cute. The key is pairing different shades of denim so the fact that it's all denim is totally over looked. I paired this very light denim button up (similar here, here) with very dark jeans. It's enough difference in shades that you don't even notice all of the denim. I then added a white, textured floral blazer to brighten it up even more. To add a little extra color to the outfit I paired these emerald green heels (similar here) and a bright pink lip (NYX in hot pink).

Don't be scared to try new things (even if others fail).
