Don't hate me...but here comes another boho look (I just can't help it). I recently picked up this shirt for 10 bucks from Gabe's and had to style it right away. I absolutely love the flowy open back and cut out shoulders. It's such a relaxed, easy top that I wanted to keep the rest of the look pretty low key but still dainty and feminine. I threw on some ripped jean shorts and these rust/tan colored booties I got from Charlotte Russe years ago. I adore how simple, but pretty this look turned out.

And again, I have to credit my girl Ana for these photos. She's incredible (and so fun to work with)!

Find a unique piece you love and plan your whole outfit around it :)

I had to take a break from boho style to work with all my city slickers today and I'm really happy I did! I paired this simple, midi length pencil skirt from Forever 21 with this graphic tank to give it a little 'edge' . Tucked in the shirt bunched up and left out it made me look like a pillow case, so I pulled it up and knotted it at the side to avoid chopping up the body too much. I added the same coin collar necklace from my other recent post (I just can't get enough of it) and black booties to finish it off.

Ana killed the photography game...again!

Like I mentioned in my last post, I've been loving the boho vibes lately. One of the things I love most about the bohemian style is how fun the accessories can be! I have seen tons of coin collar necklaces from just about every place you can imagine and have always wanted one. Between high prices and it just not being "the one," I hadn't bit the bullet. Then, I found this one...on amazon...for 13 dollars. Yep, you read that right. It was exactly what I was looking for and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's the perfect boho addition to any look. For this outfit I paired it with these super distressed jeans from Charlotte Russe and tan, open toed wedges. I threw on a simple, white, relaxed button up from Wal-Mart (yep...Wal-Mart) to avoid over kill with everything else going on.

And again...Ana kills it with the photos. I'm telling you, she's your girl for any occasion you need pictures for!

Don't be shy to step out of your comfort zone and try new styles!

With the warm Spring weather (finally) arriving, I've been having fun putting some outfits together. I've noticed recently that I've been leaning more to the boho side of things. Loose fitting, comfy, feminine outfits seem to be my go-to lately. It's just so effortless- like this dress. It's a simple off the shoulder white dress. It's so easy, but makes you look like you put in way more effort than you actually did (tricky). This particular dress was ordered off of Amazon last year sometime, but they have these everywhere now a days. I paired it with these strappy tan wedges that I picked up on clearance at South Moon Under a while back. I added a DIY gold chain head piece and walked out of the door.

Now, let's talk about these pictures real quick! AH! My friend Ana is a fabulous photographer in the area and was able to work me into her busy schedule to snap some pictures. You can see for yourself, but I'm not lying when I say she's incredible. If any of you are in my area and looking for a photographer- let me know and I can pass along her information!

BIG THANKS to Ana! Now get out and enjoy the weather.

Like last time, I could start this out by explaining all of important things I've been doing that has kept me from blogging for six months...but that would be a lie. So, let's hop right into it.

I know you all have seen that tartan scarf at Zara that retails for way more than it should. Adorable? Yes. Worth it? No. So I was on a mission to find a similar one for less...and boy did I have success. I found this one on Amazon for twelve dollars and it arrived at my door steps two days later (thanks to my sissy's amazon prime!). It looks nearly identical to Zara's scarf and is crazy soft. I've been wearing it all the time so I decided to throw it on here. Today, I paired it with this red long sleeve top from Old Navy (that I may or may not have purchased in three different colors) and some boyfriend jeans from American Eagle. I cuffed the jeans a tad bit at the ankles and threw on some tan booties for today's shoe of choice.

Go order this scarf. Seriously.

Hang on tight! This post is going to be a little (okay, a lot) different than anything that I've posted before. Along with my passion for fashion (that rhymed), I also love home decor. Painting, crafting, decorating...I love it all and hopefully some of you do too.

I have been on the lookout for a reasonably priced bar cart for quite some time now. As with most items, it wasn't something that I was so into I was willing to spend a good amount for so I was patient with it. One day, I came across 'History in High Heels' blog and THIS genius Ikea hack tutorial. Of course, I ran to Ikea ASAP and picked up my own for under 30 bucks. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of the whole process but it's really straight forward. Purchase it (it's silver), put it together (SUPER simple), spray paint (if wanted), and style. My sister and I spent about 4 hour total putting it together and painting it, including time to allow it to dry prior to a second coat (thanks sissy!). I used a variety of different items to style it. Dishes, straws, books, bowls, and a sweet chalkboard sign that currently reads "cheers". Needless to say, I love it. It's the perfect size for the corner I was looking to put it in and adds the simple spark I was looking for.

Give me some feedback on the home decor posts, don't be shy!

I know all I keep talking about is fall...but a girl can't help it. Fall fashion is my absolute favorite! I combined a few of my favorite fall fashion trends into this one outfit (and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't overly excited about it). Scarf, oversize cardigan, and a hat. I just recently picked up this hat from Target and I'm a big fan. It's the perfect size and adds the perfect 'fall touch.' I threw on a plain white tee with this mustard, over-sized sweater, and a tribal printed scarf. Added some jeans and these shoes to finish it off. These shoes, you won't even believe. I just got them from JCPenny's (like two days ago) for $8.50! They are perfect: sassy but so practical. And for 8 bucks, you really can't get any better.

See you next week.
